I decided to start this blog after my son was diagnosed with food allergies. For the first seven months of his life he suffered with terrible eczema and after a trip to the ER we found out he is allergic to milk, soy, eggs, sesame and peanuts. As a parent of a child with food allergies it is a constant emotional rollercoaster. I have cried at grocery stores, at birthday parties and at night. He has had the Epi injection twice and spent too much time in the ER.

Current allergies: Milk, Eggs, Peanuts, Tree nuts
Outgrew: Sesame, Soy

Migraines

On average I had at least one migraine per week, usually on a Friday. I knew a part of the reason for them was stress and another one was my diet. But sometimes I would get a migraine for no apparent reason. When my head first starts to hurt I will take an Excedrin. If the headache progresses to a migraine and I can barely stand to keep my eyes open or look at anything bright I would use my prescription inhaler which usually worked with a nap. I would then vomit repeatedly.

I have done this for years! Years of weekly migraines! I have been a vegan for about 4 months and have had only a few migraines so far. And all of them were from stress. Life is so much nicer with less migraines.

Just another reason to go vegan.

Everyone needs a little OM in their life~
