I decided to start this blog after my son was diagnosed with food allergies. For the first seven months of his life he suffered with terrible eczema and after a trip to the ER we found out he is allergic to milk, soy, eggs, sesame and peanuts. As a parent of a child with food allergies it is a constant emotional rollercoaster. I have cried at grocery stores, at birthday parties and at night. He has had the Epi injection twice and spent too much time in the ER.

Current allergies: Milk, Eggs, Peanuts, Tree nuts
Outgrew: Sesame, Soy

PANTRY

A list of items you will always find in my house.. When my son was first diagnosed with food allergies, my husband and I went through our entire house and removed all of his allergens. ALL OF THEM. Our pantry and cabinets were nearly empty and after a few trips to whole foods and other Markets our pantry was once again stocked and it looked better than ever.

  1. THANK YOU SO MUCH for this site you have created!!!! I just found out that my 15 month old has dairy, soy, egg and peanut allergies - he has been sick for months and I finally pushed for the allergy testing and low and behold everything he has been eating was what was making him sick! I have had a really hard time finding things for him to eat besides fruits and veggies! Your pantry items gave me some more options and I cant thank you enough!!!
